MOULANA AZAD EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP 2020

Moulana Azad Education Foundation is providing

" Begum Hazrat Mahal National scholarship" for meritorious girl students scholarship belonging to economic weaker section of the minority communities.

Scholarship is provided to 9th  and 10th classes students and  the amount is Rs. 5000/-

Scholarship is provided to 11th and 12th classes students and the amount is Rs. 6000/-

Application fee:No application fee for this scholarship submission form

General instructions:

• only girl students belonging to 6 notified minority communities(Muslims, Christians,Sikhs,Buddhists,Jain's and Parsis) are eligible.
• Scholarship will be awarded to minorities girls students who are studying in class 9th to class 12th and have secured at least 50 percentage marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in previous class for qualifying exam.
• The credentials of student requires School verification,for this purpose the students are advised to download the school verification form and get it signed by the principal of the school principal stamp and signature or required on photograph and at the given space in the form the scan copy of school verification form is to be uploaded and attached to the application.
• Income certificate must be in Hindi or English language.In case the income certificate is in regional language then it should be accompanied by notarised Hindi or English version
• Students are advised to submit only one application form in case if student submit more than one application form then all the application submitted by students treated as duplicate and will be rejected
• All required documents only in Hindi or English must be uploaded along with online application
• No physical or hard copy is required to be sent or submitted by post or by hand to Moulana Azad Education Foundation.
• Scholarship will not give more than two students from a family of the same class
• There are no fees or charges for online application form or for any other service in this regard
• Parents income should not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per year

Procedure for applying:

The scheme is implemented through scholarship portal of Moulana Azad Education Foundation if it is mandatory for all students to apply online on the portal that is  www.maef.nic.in before filling up online application applicant for advisory to download School verification form and upload scanned copy of the same duly verified by the head of the institution along with other documents as required in the scheme guidelines.

Selection procedure:

The selection of eligible students is based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in qualifying exam and parents or guardians annual income merit lists are prepared for selection of students based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam State wise community wise quota is fixed on the basis of minority population of the state in the accordance to 2011 census.

Mode of transfer of amount of scholarship

Amount of scholarship will be credited directly into the beneficiary bank account.

Any other mode of payment of amount of scholarship from MAEF like a payment of fee transfer in parents guardian accounts and parents through cheque or DD or not permissible in any case.

Renewal of scholarship

No applications for renewal of scholarships will be entertained since the applications are open for all classes that is from 9th to 12th the beneficiaries will have to apply a fresh for each class.

Students already getting scholarship

student getting scholarship under any scholarship scheme being implemented by the central or State Government shall not be eligible to get scholarship under this scheme.

Cancellation of scholarship

• Scholarship shall be deemed discontinued with any gap of academic session in the studies at any time due to any reason the awarded scholarship may be suspended or cancelled
• No claim for fresh or renewal of scholarship will be entertained from those applicants who have fail to submit their application in the prescribed time limit
• If a student is found to have obtained the scholarship by false statement certificate scholarship will be cancelled and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered at the discretion of the concerned state government administration
