 program at RGUKT BASAR (TELANGANA STATE)for the academic year 2020-21

Applications are invited from SSC passed students in the academic year 2019-20 

who studied in government ,private or aided school are eligible and the student

 should not exceed 18 years of age.

how to apply admission into RGUKT:

the process of submitting applications comprises the following steps

i.application fee payment and get the application id

ii.filling of application form

iii.print application form

iv.post the application form along with certificates(PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applications only)

APPLICATION FEE:

a.for the candidates of OC/BC(TS&AP)-Rs.200

b.for the candidates of SC/ST(TS&AP)-Rs.150

c.for the candidates of other states/global/united global-Rs.1000

d.for the candidates of NRI /International-US 25.00

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

admissions to the first year of integrated B Tech program 
(2020-2021) will be based on merit in the grade point average (GPA)

The admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the

 Local Candidates (Osmania University area, TS) and the remaining 15% of the seats 

shall be un-reserved (these seats can be filled with both States Telangana and 

Andhra Pradesh students based on merit) 

 Local Areas Means: i. The part of the State comprising the districts of Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hyderabad, Jagtial, Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhoopalpally,

 Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 

Mahabubabad, Mahbubnagar, Mancherial, Medak, Medchal , Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, 

Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Siddipet, 

Suryapet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban) and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri 

Local Candidate means: 1. A candidate for admission shall be regarded as a Local Candidate in relation to a local area (Osmaina University Area, Telangana State). 

1.1 If he/she has studied in an educational Institution or educational institutions in such 

local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the

 academic year in which he/she appeared or first appeared in the relevant qualifying 

examination, as the case may be Where, during the whole or any part of the four 

consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or, 

as the case may be, first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, 

he/she has not studied in any educational Institutions, if he/she has resided in that 

local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of 

commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which he/she appeared or 

first appeared, as the case may be. 

2. A candidate for admission to the Course who is not regarded as local candidate

 under clause (A) above, in relation to any local area shall,- 

2.1 If he/she has studied in educational Institutions in the State for a period of not less

 than seven consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which 

he/she appeared or first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, as the case may be,

 be regarded as a local candidate in relation to,- (i) Such local area where he/she has

 studied for the maximum period out of said period of seven years, or 

(ii) Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas is equal, such local area, 

where he/she has studied last in such equal periods. (see 

The Non-Local Candidate means 1. Candidates coming under any of the categories given

 below and not satisfying the conditions mentioned in 1 or 2 above are treated as 

Non-Local to Osmania University Area 

(a) candidates who have resided in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States for a total period

 of 10 years excluding periods of study outside in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States or 

(b) Candidate’s either of whose parents have resided in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

States for a total period of ten years excluding the period of employment outside in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States or

 (c) Candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of in Telangana and

 Andhra Pradesh States or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies,

 Universities and other similar quasi-public institutions, within the state, at the time of submitting 

the application or

 (d) Candidates who are spouses of those in the employment of the state or Central Government,

Public Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and Educational Institutions recognized 

by the Government or University OR other competent authority and similar quasi

 Government Institutions within in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States, 

at the time of submitting the application

 3. If a local candidate in respect of a local area is not available to fill any seat reserved 

or allocated in favour of a local candidate in respect of that local area, such seat shall 

be filled if it had not been reserved. 

4. Candidates who claim reservation under any of the categories mentioned above shall 

enclose copies of relevant certificates. The respective proforma are available.
